Dolores Monet

Hi! My name is Dolores Monet.

I am here at HubPages because I love to write. I have published short fiction under another name in small, literary magazines as well as in the children's magazine, Cricket.

My new attempt at blogging features creative tips on how to live a fabulous life under reduced circumstances. It's called sorta fabulous and I'd love you to stop by!.

In addition to writing, I garden, birdwatch, camp, read, make soap, aprons, refinish furniture, and paint landscapes on salvaged cabinet doors.

I have worked as an assistant to an antiques dealer who specialized in Victorian antiques, and vintage clothing; as a personal assistant and gardener; lab assistant; and have been involved in several community organizations, serving as board  member and committee chair.

I was so pleased to be asked for an interview about gardening in the online Eye On Life Magazine. It's a great magazine, you should check it out. I have also appeared as a guest writer on ArtisTreeCrafts.

Some of my own favorite hubs doen't get a lot of traffic. They are personal and emotional. I'm not selling anything, or trying to tell people how to do something.
